I'm stuck between thinking that's the start of a weird poem....and believing you are gollum. "Skinses?"

All you need to complete the effect would be for you to clutch a towel close to you, and after saying "Towels need more love" growl "My precioussss" whilst stroking it.

Anyway. Either Tiruin is a poet, Gollum, or a poetical Gollum. We shall never know.
Nah, she's a hitch-hiker.

There's lots of things you can do with towels, boil 'em, mash 'em, stick 'em in a stew...

Another storm I can't enjoy as much as I'd like. I've got plenty of time for clothes drying, this time, but there's a tornado warning on, and I came in when a tree fell over.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

All sorts of university-tier deadlines are really not made with people who still haven't figured their lives out in mind.

I'm glad to not deal with university deadlines, but it ticks me off that they've set a time limit on when I need to get certain things done at work.
It wouldn't bother me if they actually placed their time limits within the realm of what is physically possible.

Dammit, I was hoping that link would show me a towel with a quote from the Hitchhiker's Guide about the various uses of towels.

Actually, looking it up, such a thing exists, but it's not available for general sale.  :(

I now must add another towel to my towel-wish list. That was founded today. Well, it can only get bigger from here.

My dad can't find his scuba card, so we can't go diving together.

Also, I will be gone from the forums for 3 days because of a camping trip. But that isn't a sad.

I was just googling various things as hoodie designs, and I remembered Shook's Hatebomb shirts that never got printed.
Man, I wanted one of those. :( Maybe I'll get one made someday... or better yet get a patch made of it, and sew it onto that denim vest I occasionally wear. Even if it doesn't fit me very well.

Hello plastic bottle of water.

Why do you spill in my bag and wet all the papers within ;_;
I ensured your contents are safe inside you. Capped the top an-
You've a tiny hole in you D: Who would do such a thing!

Well...you're empty now. Back to recycling for you. :( Thanks for the nourishment.

I'm sorry papers. You're all wet and soggy and stuck to each other (presumably for warmth...). All of you carry my notes on everything, schoolwork and not.
Oh no! You're bleeding! The whole ream!
Ohnononono...I didn't know water would...I'll save you. I'll save you all!

Cursed physics. Making water spill over. :I

You need a water magnet in the bottom of the bottle. That way it'll attract the water and stop it from spilling.

This is why you should have a second pocket for the water, away from paper.
GOD, did I learn that the hard way 20 times over.

There was a one-hour special on the latest little sicko to host a shooting.
Here I thought my country might've been better than that. Guess humans are humans.
