For me it was a matter of having it ingrained into my head that saying anything to a female person that wasn't gender neutral friendliness would make me the King of All Toolboxes and laughingstock of whatever-grade.  Then she went ahead and kissed me first.  I still have a serious problem with knowing when to make the first move, so thanks for opening up that old wound, thread.

I share your problem and Aqizzar's.

They aren't very mutually compatible. Mostly I go and talk to girls, and then fail to percieve their interest in me, and then leave on a friendly note.
Only to have her - and my friends say 'you know she was really into you, right?'

Has happened... more than once.

But yes, luckily for me it's only been just over half a year since I last kissed someone - far, far longer since I last had good healthy intimacy. But yeah, it's been a long time since I last had... more practical intimacy, too.
