So a close friend is falling in love with a girl I'm tentatively interested in, and I think she's inclined to go for it. I'm not bitter or anything - hell, he's not sure he wants to try anything, but I tried to talk him into it tonight - but I think I would've had a shot there...
For what it's worth it's just as bad being on any of the sides of that.

I'm at a loss for words, so...  What Worldmaster said.  Good luck Caroline.

Be glad! If you believed their nonsense that would have been far sadder.

Told doctor last week about what I think is tinnitus. Had it forever, and never mentioned it to anyone because I thought it was normal. So I'm going to get recommended to an ear-specialist whenever she gets around to making a referral.

Also referred me to a crisis centre for my anxiety. My nan called to make an appointment, and they tried to turn her away because I'm not on drugs or alcohol, and I don't self-harm or hurt others, so I am not considered to be in crisis. They ended up sending some people to talk to me today anyways. They were nice. Recommended I talk to my doctor to see if my medication is right for me, and to see a counselor.

I need to push myself out more. Speak to people, make friends, get a relationship or something. But I am rather apathetic. Even making friends online would be strange. I'm not interesting. A lot of parts of my life are outright laughable.

I have that, is there actually anything that can be done about that? I didn't think there was, other than trying to eliminate silence so that it doesn't become deafening and stuff. (I have it as a result of being able to hear the high-frequency sounds from CRTs, and being around them so much before CRTs became obsolete)

What Worldmaster said, I guess.

One of my friends is potentially dating someone who I am absolutely not ok with. After a rather nasty message sent from my friends phone to me, I tried to get in contact and failed. Granted, my attempts to speak to the friend has failed repeatedly both now and in the past. My attempts to actually get with this person result in them saying they might do something; but generally they don't respond to my hailings. As much as I like this person, I am at my wit's end. Resolution on the matter has been denied. I'd really prefer that someone would just say whether it's over or not.

I'm tired of not knowing whether I'm trying too hard and just being generally desperate or whether they do care like they say they do but are impossible to reach. At any rate, this is probably one of the last times I'm reaching out to them.

I'm doing everything I can, but if nothing is there, there is nothing I can do. And that's what really sucks. That I'm doing whatever I can to make this work out and I don't feel the same tug from them. I have other friends, but she is one of the few who I can actually call close to me. Someone who I can confide and on any other day be proud to stand beside.

I really don't know what to do anymore.

It's 2 AM and I'm probably not thinking very clearly but here goes

So I was looking at Facebook for some reason (it just makes me feel bad most of the time but I still do it for some reason). Apparently tomorrow (today I guess) is my crush' birthday. The first post on this naturally had to be from probably-boyfriend, just after midnight :x
I just have no idea or reference point to know if they are a couple or just good friends, and it frustrates me so goddamn much. This is why I should stop using facebook. But I don't, because... I actually want to know about this? :(

I can't do anything about this situation for several weeks, which is far too much time for these thoughts to be in my mind without action. I might actually ask her out but that's still several weeks in the future and I don't know if I can stick with that plan until then, just because I have too much time to think about it >.<
