Given that it is a slang word it means that Noob and Newb are the exact same thing.

Why do people saw Noob instead of Newb you ask? Well it has nothing to do with people seeking a seperating of the definition between someone who is new and destructive or new and kind... No

It is because THIS IS THE INTERNET!

Noob is much easier to spell then Newb and as you know, if there is anything the internet wins the gold in it is lazyness in spelling. You will be called a Noob if you are new or bad at a game no matter how kind, understanding, or quick learning you are.

Frankly I am annoyed everytime I see someone trying to seperate Noob and Newb. It makes me want to say "Have you been on the internet?"
