Akroma said she wouldn't mind being GM on the last page. Hell, she brought it up.

Yeah, if nobody else wants to, there's always her, as I was about to say.

As for the setting, should we decide on one or just let the DM decide?

Since the DM will be doing most of the work, it would probably be fair to let the DM have final say in the matter.

Aye, agreed. So, after its all set up, we'll decide on what kind of tools we'll use to do this online?

This proposed game interests me. I can't for the life of me find the post where Akroma offers to GM, though.

Yes, I suppose. I really do recommend Gametable. It's initial images are limited, but you can download pogs for just about any picture and it comes with the tools to make buildings, label items, it's just really really cool.

My bad, it was Rooster.
Damn similar avatars.

Similar avatars? One is a generic abino girl, and the other is L from Deathnote...

I'm actually more willing to play than be the DM.
And, for us, this is taken as eagerly volunteering, I guess?

Add to that the fact that CJ is the one who originally brought up a D&D forum game, and this is a communication failure of epic proportions.

Heh, seems like you guys are desperately grasping for someone to DM :P I like DMing, but I'm hesitant to volunteer because...

I haven't played since 3.0
I have no experience with the online tools
I no longer have the books (although that SRD site pretty much covers that)
I don't have a mic
My schedule's in a bit of a state of flux currently

So put me down as a...maybe...if you can't find anyone better...

You could use gametable.  It's awesome, seriously.  We used it in the Dark Heresy game, so you can ask the people involved in that.  It's really easy to use.

Holy shit, I was right!

Also, since when do we need a mic? Just use MSN or some other chat for OOC talk. Or better yet, just do it in Gametable to piss off the GM!

Yeah!  We have so many willing GMs that we can afford to piss some off...

Hmm, and since I haven't really played before, anyone know any manuals and stuff that I have to read first?  Just don't want to read a whole manual and then be told "No, that's not relevant to this version" :P.

D&D wiki works just fine, if you ask me. You mostly only need to know how to do the rolls and what skills and feats you wanna take, classes, prestige classes, and of course info about the setting.

Once you guys decide everything, set up a thread so we can stop raping this topic  ;D
