Super minor happy, but finally got around to turning my driving music USB from "bunch of stuff I dumped onto it in a hurry" several months ago into something vaguely curated. Took like... three or four hours or something. Dropped about 8 gigs of music off of it, track list went from somewhere around 3k to a little under 1.3k. Gon be easier to hit stuff I'm looking for now, and I finally purged the last of the noise music (because the stuff tends to make sounds you really don't want to hear inside a moving vehicle) and a few pieces I remembered had police sirens in them, hahaha.

Next comes slowly filling it back up with (more) stuff I want to hear while driving :V

The worst part of working as a dishwasher in a kitchen is definitely the shitty coworkers that the incompetent management hires.

But the best part is, sometimes the cooks bring you the tub they were using to make cake frosting, and didn't scrape it clean. Free cake frosting. And free leftovers for dinner.

And free coronavirus.

Jumping spiders are the best spiders... Such a polite little fella. I didn't even have to put a lid on the bowl/cap I used to carry it, it was a bit fearful for a second but then it just looked at me while I carried it outside. In der Not frisst der Teufel Fliegen, teehee.

The other beer-drinking metalhead of my primary friend group sent me a message just before, telling me I was missed at the gathering they had on the weekend two states away - largely because if I'd been there I would have made his alcohol consumption seem like less of anomaly amongst all the psychonauts, stoners and electronica fans.   
Brought a tear to my eye to feel so appreciated and understood. :')   
Also I may be a li'l drunk right now myself, but that's unrelated.

So...a few days ago, I was served divorce papers. This is a happy for me for a couple of reasons. I have not seen the woman who I am legally married to in over 4 years. Fully blocked on social media, no phone calls, letters...nothing. This also means that I have had no contact whatsoever with my youngest daughter.

The paperwork has an address on it. I can finally send my littlest bean stuff in the mail. That said, I also have to find a family lawyer who will work with me being disabled. I'm also considering pressing felony "parental kidnapping" charges against my ex because she left the state and gave me 0 opportunity to contact my child, and they moved at least once without my knowledge after they left the state. I really don't want to be the guy who locked up my daughter's mom...but I was grievously wronged and the chance is there to set things right, at least a little bit.

I don't think they'll lock her up for that. Family courts can rarely manage anything if you can prove the child will be killed by an abusive parent. Good luck to you.

Well it should not end with your ex in jail, even better would be at least a legal warrant for you to have the rigths to see your kid and if she makes a crap move against it then she goes to jail.

Um, no I'm pretty sure it was just a casual get together at the sharehouse where a few of said friends live. Though of course, the neighbours probably mistake said gatherings for illegal raves sometimes, unless the soundproofing situation on the garage has improved since I was there last.    
I'm not entirely certain what "yearbook" means in this context. It was pretty sweet in any case, though.   



@MZ: well, people definitely shouldn't be able to get away with doing such a thing, so if you have the chance to get somewhat even with her I sure wouldn't think less of you for taking it. Happy for you and your daughter, anyway!

At the minimum you should have weekly visiting rights. Definitely pursue that. You won't be locking mummy away - you'll be making sure she knows daddy.

It is a lovely morning, and I am surprisingly not bothered by the concept of going to work today. I usually hate it. Retail at Canadian Tire has kind of sucked so far, but the pay's been alright and I actually like most of my coworkers.
