No batteries in the GameBoys is actually a blessing. Decades old batteries tend to leak and destroy the gear. Don't store your collectible electronics with batteries in.

Note that the GameBoy cartridges themselves have an internal battery that only lasts a couple of decades. If the game won't start even with batteries in the device, you may need to carefully open the cartridge and replace the internal battery (which may require some electronics know-how, depending on the cartridge. Look up instructions online if needed). Paradoxically, this probably ruins the collector value of the cartridge, even though it might not even work if it's not done.

I started the morning by watching WKRP in Cincinatti - Turkeys Away (season 1 episode 7, but I'm guessing a link is against forum policy).

Breakfast was a beef stick because it wasn't long before lunch. The dogs wanted in, so I justified "dogs can have little a salami".

Later, food and walking the dogs.

Been paid, and my students are performing pretty well. Both make the job feel less terrible when it's manic.

I got the H7 style LED Headlights I ordered installed in my 2006 Mazda 3 today!

(The Halogen style bulbs it uses frequently burn out, and are rather dim. Sadly, Mazda included a stupid mounting adapter in their headlight retention design.

The LED lights are "Longer" than a normal H7 bulb, and so this mounting adapter does not properly fit at the location needed for the retention lever arm to push down on.

Enter my 3D printer, some nice high temp nylon, and some ghetto engineering.  Made some fancy printed nylon bushings that satisfy the retention mechanism, and are JUST the right height for the adapter to fit on the end. :P

Fancy LED headlights installed and working.

They are even brighter than the halogen bulbs they replaced!

I might order some replacement high-beam bulbs as well. (The Mazda uses separate bulbs for high and low beam)

Depends on the 70%, and what the remaining 30% is.

If any of you know me from other posts I've made you may have spotted that I am occasionally an incredibly depressive person and you might be happy to know that I've had a huge win for once. 24 years on Earth and so far I've had one big win. Can't be bothered talking about it, just enjoying the high of happiness. Love you all!!!

I have realized I have no reason to believe Christianity and I no longer consider myself a Christian.

This is incredibly freeing, even as it creates some uncertainty.

Still have to deal with how to tell people or who to tell or if I'm going to tell anyone at all. I don't know how they'll respond. So far I'm fine keeping up the charade - going to church isn't harmful to me, and the church's youth group is basically my only socialization anyway  :).)
