This would've been an uncalled-for gut punch, but seeing as they already swapped out Robin Williams for the voice of Batty in Ferngully 2, the blow is lessened.

Anyways, in other, movie related happies, check this one out, it's pretty damn crazy looking.

Farmer couple adopts Superman after finding his crashed space pod... and then it turns into a horror story.  That was unexpected.  I'll be watching out for this one.

I have everything but the piece of paper qualifying me as a graduate, on the Dean's Merit list, and with good enough marks that the maths department would be idiots not to accept me for honours. I spent a while chatting with my dad the other night about going into teaching and he gave me some more pointers. I haven't felt this directed and sure of my future in quite some time. Years, even.

Also finally bit the bullet and started a forum game. Probably be less happy when it inevitably dies a painful death, but that's life.

I've been making a bullet hell game as a school project. Today, I showed it to others. Though the game's aesthetics are minimalistic placeholders, they didn't affect the full credit I got, because the technical part is more than sufficient and "it's a programming course, not a design course". The instructor called my code "tricksy" as apparently it does things the library isn't designed for. I'm not sure if that's a compliment.

Edit: Also, I got to try conducting an orchestra today. Surprisingly difficult, I couldn't figure out what to do with my left hand while keeping my right hand even.
