I was given "allegory" in 2nd grade, but the lady distinctly pronounced it with an e-as-in-exit-or-extra-or-elegant, I couldn't place the word but I could certainly see what she seemed to be saying so I asked her to say it again, and sure enough there it was in my head "elegory" which is not a word.

Reminds me of, Lordslowpoke, was it? Or Iceball? Maybe Ein? Maybe of those who is no longer among us. Zero caps. Short thoughts. Ah, the years gone... Anywho. Caps and punctuation are handy tools to convey a point. Y'can do it all right straight, or none of it straight, and then it gives you that flex room to differentiate when you want to make a point, it's great. I usually go all lowercase no punctuation when I'm tryina snark or snide or drop shitty puns.

Much as I hate that it became a term, shut out the haters, right?

LSP was the most famous of the non-punctuating short-posting maniacs, yeah. Lots of people do it.

I too do all-lower case when I'm being particularly facetious.

Even my text messages are properly punctuated, capitalised and double-spaced after full stops.  I correct my spelling if I've made a typo in steam chats.

I use it mostly for clarity, which is silly, because everything's obvious from the text without all the fiddly punctuation.
