I made my wife bagel pizzas for the first time. I sort of assumed everyone on earth had tried bagel pizza, that being a bagel with sauce and cheese and such on top.

I used fresh garlic and my newly-grown fresh basil under the cheese, and also some black pepper and oregano. Quite the hit.

My mother managed to negotiate with an internet provider and for just a bit more than we were paying the previous one we now have 50Mbps of download speed and 5 of upload, up from 15 and 1 respectively. It's... unreal.

Oh yeah, bagel pizza is pretty great. I might have to start that up again, I used to fix those for breakfast a few years back.

French bread pizza is good too, if it's good quality bread. Slice the loaf in half horizontally, and put the sauce, cheese, and toppings on both halves, then bake in oven until bread is toasty crisp.

I’m assuming all you folks on (in?) the British Isles have nowhere to be today? Last time I was there and it snowed bad (the great Winter of ‘09) everything stopped. Ran out of grit, too.

We're gonna start March in Moscow with -15C and about 3 inches of snow on the streets. And that's how we will likely carry on into late March, with April being full of wet misery and precipitation.

In another Moscow, it is 36F, just above freezing (which means it all freezes at night into sheets of ice) and snow forecast for the rest of the week.

I love the snow. I just don't like the ice or the transition from Winter to Spring. The Palouse is a mess of weather sometimes.
