I also like riding at night.  Or doing just about anything at night, rather than during the day.

I prefer driving at night. Much less to focus on.

I do, however, very much dislike dawn/dusk driving.

Driving at night can be dangerous, due to the blinding effects of oncoming headlights (so many dipshits leave their high beams on!) and the aforementioned lack of stuff to focus on luring drivers into a lull.

That said, wow the main reason I stick to my early-morning start time is the relative lack of traffic to deal with.
