I was going to remark about how the planet named after the goddess of love makes a cardiod orbit shape, but then I realized that the same probably can be said for literally any other planet.

Turns out that we had a lovely big crystal of what I think is fluorite.

Pretty much.  It's a cute coincidence, but there's no deeper orbital resonance between Earth and Venus; that degree of separation per orbital cycle still adds up fast, relatively speaking.  It's still quite pretty, though. 

Except pluto probably. Which is 100% a planet shut up.

That's probably why it resonated with the Homestuck fandom. Super long walls of text that don't really mean anything interspersed by small moments.

I can only scroll so fast, and there are literally years of pages, with nothing but a repetitive text box to spice things up every couple of weeks. As far as attention-grabbers go, it's not quite as good as watching grass grow but a bit better than drying paint.

Ah, but that empty space very much serves a narrative purpose, y'know? The thing would lose a lot if it was just the small boxes of text without the vast emptiness in between.

It quickly triggered my Firefox's memory-issue where images stop working until I restart the browser.  To be fair, I have literally over a hundred tabs open... technically.  Most are in "stasis" from restarting the browser, until I check on them, so take up very little space, but a few actually-open ones are fairly heavy.

Ooh, if you revisit the site, it remembers you and offers an archive listing.  Cookies are neat.
