Anyway, it was nearly 50f when I got up this morning, nice and bright sunshine. Its all warm and good now, ice is beginning to melt and I broke a bunch on the pathway outside. Animals are happy.
Father also diagnosed a problem with the generator; one of the brushes broke. Its a $5 part, but we have to order it. So we might have power back by Tuesday if nothing else is wrong with it.

Finally found a tire for my car that I could afford! Just in time too, the old ruptured and I had to put the donut on. Which took 15 minutes because the damn bolts were rusted on and one of them is nearly stripped
