I mean, I'm not joyful. Joy is a temporary state of being. I'm not euphoric, because I don't own a fedora. I'm not contented, because I'm constantly challenged and kind of mildly stressed out, but it's a good kind of stress. I think happy is the best way to put it.

I'm still antsy and feel like the same lame work in progress... but I just feel like I'm more okay with the things that usually make me feel terrible.

Just took a big woodcutting ax out of the garage to chop up some debris from hurricane matthew the big claw truck was apparently unable to handle.
On one hand, chopping up a tree trunk with an ax is harder than it looks on tv.  Even a small one.
On the other, wow, that felt empowering.  I think I'm starting to understand why my dad always loved his tools.

I just slept two hours and I don't know why but I have so much more energy than when I usually sleep 9.

I'm not sure if 5'6" is tiny anymore.

Also I had a cute wool hat but I think I forgot it back at home in Thailand so I'll have to buy a new hat for the coming winter. RIP.

Cinder, my advice would be to get yourself a really oversized flat cap. Cute, comfy, long-lasting (if you buy right).

Like the example below, except probably even bigger proportionally and with a cute face underneath.
