From my playing so far, Doom 64 is hard. Spectre pinkies were bad enough but spectre imps and the way Doom 64 animates their invisibility is really distracting when trying to shoot them. Enemies seem to attack more frequently and faster as well with Cacodemons firing one fireball after another with just enough time to dodge between them.
It's fun and the levels have interesting designs. More button pressing and platform raising then base Doom, as well as some switch puzzles with hints on wall terminals.

Yeah, some things in doom64 were harder because they had to make a lot of concessions for the n64s shitty ram. This meant any level with tougher enemies in it tended to be absolutely loaded with them. Since they could only use a few types per level at the same time.

The only level that breaks that rule in the original game is the last, since it has very simplistic design and limited textures, so the whole bestiary can be unleashed on you.

Owlboy is really neat so far. Art is amazing, and story is witty. Character design is also strong. Just, really a neat game.

Oh hey, I've been watching that game for a while. Good to know that it is good.

For my happiness: I had forgotten how much fun Civ 4 was. I've probably been playing it a bit too much but, eh, I'm enjoying myself. Also, moisturiser is making my hands look better, much better. Before my hands were straight out of a horror movie, now they faintly resemble the hands of a human being.

I think I've finally fixed my sleeping problem.

Turns out all I need is to stop being stupid about my schedule so that I have enough free time to do things I want before going to sleep.

I can probably adapt to remove all my free time entirely too, since according to Bay12 life is hell and real people work themselves to death and feel happy about it.

One's sleeping problem is according to scheduling and many other things--cutting out that last part for redundancy and noting down 'time management' is what I'm rather reading your post as.

This should get you somewhere. If you only want to edit your voice after recording it and not in real-time, just Renoise is probably enough. The real-time setup is good for various online shenanigans, though.

It's actually fucking unreal how at peace I am with everything right now. Even if any crisis comes up I think I can always emotionally handle them unless it involves me dying or being in a large amount of debt.
