i went to a con and it was awesome, i got a kawaiidozer bobblehead and people asked me to take pictures with me c:

except, mine was in new zealand so that's slightly different but whatever

saw a really good mettaton cosplayer and got a photo, and a sans & papyrus duo, got a photo with them too.

bought some contact lenses for a cosplay i'm gonna do next march, as nepeta from homestuck

pretty sweet, i got a cosplay with some other tf2 cosplayers which was awesome, also an awesome borderlands psycho cosplay.

i can't do the contact lenses thing tho because i need to wear contacts or glasses anyway so if i wore special ones i wouldnt be able to see anything ;-;

So, some weeks back you might have heard me complain about how it took  far longer than it should have to for the reference center to take in one of my patients. I was also unhappy with the treatment protocol that was applied. Well, the patient died, which is a sad, albeit a predictable one (with the treatment protocol that was chosen the median is 8 months anyway).

The happy thing is that the relatives were apparently very grateful to me, and went to my usual consult to tell me so.  I wasnt around, so they proceeded to give one of my work-mates an one-hour-long dissertation on my greatness.

I spent all yesterday on the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. Rode the rides, played games, ate too much, and walked on the beach in the surf for the first time in so many years.

Really eyes arent that big of a thing (not like anybody ever looks deeply in my eyes :V) and regular contacts are already pretty expensive, vanity contacts would be even moreso...
