I took a year off and mine plummetted.

Weirdly, now that I have more free time, my ppd has dropped.

It's still pretty high, but lower than peak which was like 85?).

'Sir' isn't quite it, I think. It should more formal than that, but less formal than 'milord'.

Sir is how somebody getting paid to service another addresses their client.
  Like a waiter.

Sir is how you'd address a stranger to be formal about it.


Mister is less formal than sir.  miss too.


Sir is popularly viewed as masculine, but is gender ambiguous.  Females are sirs too, if they have authority.



Truth is, in my area we usually omit a title as a sign of respect and just use things like 'excuse me', I dont mean to intrude/offend/bother you', or 'by explaining one's own predicament'.


Truth is, we here in America have less respect for the elderly, and Id like to imagine less for authority.  Being so isolationist, arrogant, etc. I imagine we lack the term that directly translates.

Every other time somebody posts about a birthday there's like at least five happy birthdays, TBF shouts "PREPARE THE IMAGE" and at least one of the multi-age drifting or even speedwagon is another year older images gets posted

Just saw the trailer for Hugh Jackman's final wolverine movie.  It's Old Man Logan.  Obviously there a lot of changes.  Such as Patrick Stewart as Charles Xavier.  Logan taking care of a young mutant girl.  The trailer had Johnny Cash's "Hurt" playing throughout.

I nearly cried, I was so happy.

No inbred hillbilly hulks, 3/10.
But what really makes me skeptical is how in Old Man Logan comic they make a big thing out of how Logan never bared his claws for so long the scars between his knuckles have healed completely, and he keeps them concealed for the better part of the story. And trailer is eager to show off Logan fighting with claws all over the place.

Johnny Cash was appropriate though. I think the movie will be alright.
