My baby cousin also has her first birthday party today. For one present, she received some building blocks and a greeting card with a picture of a reindeer. Guess which she found more interesting. So cute.

A more personal happy: a store was having a bankrupcy sale and I got a game I had been looking for for dirt cheap. Kinda sad they went bankrupt, but I can't really do anything about it.

Yesterday was a good day.

Went to the beach with my sister and little nephew and followed him around the beach as he splashed about in rockpools and puddles, and then ran around going 'no' and 'aaah' in silly voices as he threw sand at me and giggled.  :D

Then later in the day my snake decided to shed while I was watching for the first time. The little noodle rubbed his head upside down on a bit of wood he has in his viv until his upper jaw skin peeled back then slithered around getting it all loose and slipped right out of it. First time I've been able to see him shed or handle a snake skin that wasn't already several hours old. It's very different from a dried out one. Flexible, moist, slightly slippery from the lubricants snakes use to help slide out of it. On top of that he then ate, which he had refused to do last week.  :)

I reset my computer and STUFF WORKS AGAIN FUCK YES!

Also, it seems to have cleared out a good deal of gunk I'd installed.
