I am having so much fun with Mass Effect 3. I don't care whatever criticisms people have about it, it's the most fun I've had with Mass Effect since... ME2, really.

I don't even care about the ending, I don't care if it's even worse than Fallout 3's ending, the journey's been worth it 100% of the way.

Yeah, playing DA: Inquisition currently myself and really enjoying it.

Actually pretty sure Inquisition has bioware's first homosexual companion.

Juhani in KoTR was actually lesbian, though the scenes that could show that weren't easy to trigger since most people didn't talk to her a lot I think.

It was an idea that never actually made it into the game because Lucasarts objected. There's nothing in the game that disputes it though, so lesbian Juhani may as well be canon.

I'd say Liara was the first homosexual romance option, because (whatever lore may say) Asari have breasts and female body proportions and female voice talents play all Asari roles, and you can romance Liara as a female Commander Shepherd.

Both femshep and manshep can also have a fling with Jack in ME2, which predates Inquisition by a few years.

Well, I think what tack means is character exclusively attracted to their own sex/gender. Liara wouldn't count as this since she can be romanced by either shep if I recall correctly. Also in Dragon age all characters were either straight or bi until Inquisition. So yeah, technically prolly the first time I know of where it was explicit at least. I haven't touched KoToR though, so I wouldn't know much about Juhani.

I do find it a bit weird in Inquisition that you can seduce your advisors, who aren't actually characters and don't have any sort of approval rating.

Well, they are characters, they're just not companions. They do have their own little stories and stuff, but they get less writing by virtue of not accompanying you on the field.

Also, yeah, they did a lot of game, that I kinda find it funny they never got much in terms of Biomedical Software done. That being the entire reason they were founded. They just ended up landing a jig with TSR/Wizards to produce a game. Or Black Isle/Interplay did and handed it to them.

Although I do read they started as a game company from the get go too, so I could be talking out my own ass here.
