Actually I drink about the same amount of tea as LW. 1 liter cup FTW.

And it's actually far easier than you'd think, if the only liquid you drink is tea.

Man, i kind of have to stick to herbal tea because regular tea tends to be too bitter for me, and even then, i find that many herbal teas aren't to my taste (anise and peppermint, both being fairly common, taste a bit too strongly). I'm terrible at being adult, i don't like alcohol (the taste of the sweeter beverages is fine but alcohol still gives me sour stomach), coffee tastes vile on my tongue (sorry coffaholics but that just means more coffee for you i guess??), and tea... Well, better than the former two, but the only tea that i've consistently found to be enjoyably mild is chamomile tea. In fact, if given the choice, i'd much rather have a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream to go with my cake. :v

In other happy news, despite being rather constipated today and the past three days, we went to my uncles 70th birthday party today, taking place at a restaurant that's normally well above my price class. The price per person here was $105.6. THAT'S A LOT. On top of being an extremely generous gesture by my dear grumpy uncle (who's a much nicer person than his grumpy face and voice might imply, what with him being a Lions Club member), it was also delicious beyond mortal comprehension. I mean holy shit, that's the most delicious course of meals i've had in years! I now know exactly what i'm missing out on by not being a rich fuck. :I

My dad tossed £200 at me last week and said "here's your first month's rent for next year."

Dunno why he did it, considering I paid myself in full for this entire year, and I can afford to do so next year too. I objected but he said he'd paid a month out of my sister's and brother's rent, and he felt bad not doing the same for me. So when I was going away to Belfast for the week, I tossed it to him and made a bit of a runner to my lift.

Unfortunately (fortunately? ) the ungrateful sot found that money being thrown at him disagrees with him, so he gave it to me again today. Well okay then.
