Undertale is making me openly emotional, in a way that I haven't actually felt in years

EDIT: Oh, I probed my thoughts to see if I could find any particular thing that's causing me to cry, going over all that.

It's because I moved away and don't have anyone to talk about it with.

...That's significantly sadder than I first thought.

Still, though, the game triggered latent emotions while nothing else has managed to so far. That's pretty good.

EDIT 2: Yeah, I just personally thanked Radiation for that. For this game. For triggering my emotions that I guess I was going to feel. Still crying.

EDIT 3: Definitely the game. Done crying now, only start again when I think about the exact scene that triggered it, not about the other stuff.

I'm reserving my judgment on Undertale, but I have never played Earthbound and it somehow made me feel nostalgic.

I guess I'll look up undertale after all. I've been searching for a similar oddball rpg experience for a while now.

Decided to visit the local greenhouse today and pick up some plants - it's so much cheaper to start them from seeds but I always forget to do it early enough.

To my surprise, they had ghost chili plants! So I bought one, since I've wanted to try "the hottest pepper in the world" (even though it's not anymore).

Of course in a few months when the peppers are ready this will probably end up in the sad thread when they end up being way too hot and I completely destroy my mouth.

Well, the peppers aren't completely mature yet, but one of them got knocked off the plant by a bird or a cat or something. So I took it inside, scrubbed it off, and chopped it up.

Ate one little slice and... wow. One tiny slice was worse than eating a whole japaleno... not quite bad enough to destroy my mouth but hot enough that I'm really glad I didn't try to eat the whole thing.

So I mixed a few tiny chunks in some noodles I made for lunch and it turned out really good, nice and spicy without being too overwhelming. Of course, with as little as I had to use and as many peppers as the plant is growing I'm going to have ghost chilis in the freezer for years now, but I guess that's not a bad problem to have.

So I'm pretty happy.
