I have, after a pitched three hour battle, nuked my house of all possible sources for these fucking gnats to live off of. The dishes have been sterilized, the trash and recyclables have been removed, and THE HIVE has been found and destroyed (it was in a bag for recyclable paper, and I found it by accident). Hopefully this now means that these assholes will now all die of starvation or old age, because they're gnats.

Otherwise I will be enacting Plan B.

After watching the DARPA bot competition I realized how dumb robots are. Then again it's probably easier to slice things into pieces than opening doors.

Plan B-leach. I will make a semi-educated guess as to the proper water-to-bleach ratio and then cover every surface with it.

Plan C-arbon will follow should this prove inadequate.

After watching the DARPA bot competition I realized how dumb robots are. Then again it's probably easier to slice things into pieces than opening doors.

They aren't autonomous robots. They're basically radio controlled armored cars with big spinny blades and hammers attached. They have people controlling them from the sidelines.

Autonomous bot fights would be way cooler though, I must say. As shown by the darpa bots though, making autonomous robots capable of perceiving a dynamically changing environment and reacting accordingly is hard.
