I miss driving.  I love it enough to consider being a trucker.

Obama announced he wants to make the first 2 years of community college free! :o please pass! don't you block this Republicans!

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=d-QDfEMXAgk
Holy shit Obama actually tries to do something significant in policy?
But yeah that's gonna get blocked so hard, because if there's anything I've learned about American politics it's that nothing can happen because people are dicks.
I take it you missed him normalizing relations with Cuba?

But yeah, he's not up for re-election and has by all appearances stopped having shits to give about trying to convince the Right to not steal the collectively-bought football and take it home.
I've been asleep politically speaking for about 6 years now, so yeah.

I'm usually driving around in the weight equivalent of 25 or so cars, with comparatively fewer safety features, and I somehow manage to do this every day just fine :P
Doesn't a larger vehicle increase safety, by virtue of crushing the other thing instead?

Fun fact: airbags in your car (in the US) are actually significantly more powerful than they need to be, and thus increase the severity and likelihood of injury. This is because US safety regulations cover unbelted occupants, not just occupants wearing a seatbelt.

So if you get into a car crash and are injured by the airbag, blame everyone who doesn't wear a seatbelt.

I concur. Driving is nice. It's relaxing. Most of the time. Depends on where you're driving and how traffic is like but most of the time I find it relaxing because when I'm driving all I need to focus on is driving. Also, can listen to music. Music makes everything better.

I'll stick to Euro Truck Sim 2. Mostly because CHRIST it's relaxing.

They're also potentially very dangerous to people my size!

That's OK, you've got that healing factor, right? Oh wait, I forgot that despite being built like Wolverine, you are not actually Wolverine.

The first time I saw someone actually playing that game was when my brother was weaving through traffic like it was GTA (moving his big rig with crazy finesse, he rounded several corners and even went down an off ramp without once slowing from the 80 km/h he was doing, narrowly dodging vans, cars, and other trucks all the while and not getting a single scratch) in what he told me was rural Poland while he had this going in the background. That whole ensemble is pretty much the only thing I can think of when someone mentions that game, even though I'm pretty sure he was doing it wrong.

good lord he was

You're supposed to be like, hyper careful. It's quite relaxing, even with the metalest thing you can find on the radio on.

Also, if any of us were an IRL Superhero, it'd be Max.
