We've got something to look for. Basement, has a hatch, will be locked. Get going, agents.

I see your reference and raise you:

All the environmental problems come from there being too many people in the world. To benefit our planet, we should kill all the excess people.

We are finally getting closer to a new golden age.  Robots that cook for us.  :D :D

While I'm impressed on a technical level, it looks like it's taking all the fun parts out of cooking and leaving me with the chopping and other grunt work that I hate doing >____________>

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Hrmm.
I just had some sort of a mini epiphany on looks vs. character.

Have you ever had one of those things where you look at something, and a thought strikes you like inspiration from the heavens...and then a second later you can barely remember it?

Whenever I have an inspiration from the heavens it tends to stick around. If you've seen it in the Religion Questions thread, I had a great realisation that led me to redefine Christianity's 'God'.

Isn't it just 'don't judge a book by its cover' though?

I have one for dreams.

Some weird stuff in there.
I even woke up to find I'd written a poem in there once. 0_o

Except that's a really dumb attitude, because the covers of books are designed on the premise that people will judge by them.
