Mainly because people keep crowning her as the inevitable candidate, plus she hasn't outright said 'No, I'm not running'.

She would crowd out the field with her name recognition, power, and all that anyway.

Also, the field is pretty sparse outside of Clinton, who can point to not only her Senatorial career and tenure as Secretary of State, but also her prominent role as a politically-active First Lady.  Dean failed in '04 and didn't try in '08.  Warren has potential issues with experience, which is a particular concern after Obama, and has repeatedly indicated that she will not run.  Gutiérrez is probably too far left to be electable.  Biden is...Biden; it'd be like electing Quayle.  Apparently Klobuchar has been considered an outside possibility (to be cynical, probably for the same reason as Warren - because there's been lots of talk about a "first female president" - while she doesn't have the inexperience issue), but she has the same issues as Pawlenty in 2012 - no recognition outside her own state.
