We noticed a similar thing back when we had Mormon missionaries come round back at university.

They spent more time focusing on my girlfriend at the time (a committed Christian) than they did trying to convert me (a committed atheist). She was rather pissed off about this and responded by going all bible study on the copies of The Book of Mormon they left us and having some rather piercing questions to ask when they came back.

Can't speak for JWs but those two came back three separate times.

Yeah, I got stopped on the street by various types of religion pushers several times. I let them talk until the momen they mention religion, the bible or jesus. At which point I just say no and get back to walking.

Never had them knock on the door tho, but I think that's because there's not that many of them around these parts and most of the people here are christian and don't take too kindly to that stuff.

Still, if I could secure myself against that stuff I'd do it by digging a moat around my house and raising the drawbridge whenever I'd see them approaching. Try knocking on my door over a crocodile infested moat now you bastards!
