I find actual flowers an ill-omen. They usually die like, within a week (Canada, eh?) so for a romantic gift it's... Yeah. Not good. So I figured I'd give her, instead, a blue hand-made paper flower in a box as a first-date gift, yeah?

Just did a marathon of a huge chunk of work that was tedious as hell to tackle for 3 1/2 hours straight, but for the sake of my client (shopping site; company logo is applied to all products now), all future products I produce for them should be completely web-ready since all products are now taken care of ahead of time (They're half-finished in a good way. Pending review on it, but I already did a spot-check before uploading). I hope they appreciate the hassle cleared out. I still have another 2 hours remaining on the clock to plow through as many product images as possible; some are sets that require color changes between logo and shirt colors/color schemes. Since the backs are already accounted for, everything can be posted client-side as soon as products are ready. My efficiency builds are really living up to their title, since I got another idea to plow through several logos at a time, depending on what gets sold on what.

Close to burned out, but I can manage the last 2 hours (on a dinner break right now), but it's nice knowing I'm working again, and despite the tedium, I enjoyed it. At least I had my music and snacks with me, along with the comforts of my room to keep me occupied through the ordeal.

I just finally enrolled in the fiction writing class I've been trying to get into since I arrived at Uni. This entirely reverses the dread mood I've been in from mismanaging my time and letting my finals pile up on me.
