I actually almost won at chess today, but there was not enough time to finish the game ;_;
I had a king, a bishop, a horse and a tower while my enemy lacked the tower.
I was also able to keep everyone on black while the other dude's bishop was on white, I was just in the process of pushing him into a corner.

Same in German, but we call the horse 'Jumper' instead. And the pawns are called farmers.

IIRC there's some interesting etymology behind the word rook: Originally that chess piece used to be a chariot, and the Persian word for that sounds kinda like rook. That would explain why the only stone building on the board is one of  the most mobile pieces instead of, y'know, immobile.

In this version of Far Cry 4, it's just a nice short game about a guy visiting a wartorn country, enjoying a nice dinner, getting to put his mother's ashes in their final resting place, then leaving it without getting in any sort of violent vaguely mystical adventure at all. Why would you even think that would happen?

Psssh. How do you think I'm going to keep sane during my downtime? Which, let's be clear, I have ample opportunity for, with 6 hours yet to go. I mean, it's gotta be double-spaced, even.
