Anonymous has taken over the KKK's twitter. Archive.today link, for posterity and I figure you don't want the KKK's twitter in your web history.

I noticed a recurring theme how anybody who voices horrible opinions will immediately hide behind their Free Speech rights like they were something that was meant to stop people.

I would say that shutting down someone's social media account counts as stifling their free speech.
But I'm not as bothered about idealistic freedom as a lot of people seem to be.

Eh, at the point you have to fall back on free speech rights to defend yourself you've most likely lost. (or the majority or wrong, which is entirely possible.)

Free speech is targeted at the government.  The first amendment means the government can't shut you up.  Individuals can tell you to shut up all day long and they aren't impinging on your rights.

Now, yes, if they use violence or hacking to shut you up that's illegal.  But it isn't illegal because of the first amendment, its illegal because its already illegal.

I forgot how nice it is to just lay down and not do anything for a bit. Put on some ambient music and just lay alone in the dark and did nothing but space out and listen to the ambiance. This was only for 45 minutes but I feel better than if I napped for 2 hours.

So relaxed. I feel remarkably positive considering all the homework I have due in the next two weeks which I haven't finished yet.
