Yeah, I think I've got one creature, and one adventure.  It didn't happen until about the time that they did their last round of features, though.  Still, I wasn't really expecting any.

I remember I got a feature shortly before they stopped giving a shit about their game. Was very surprised when it happened. It was for this:

I'll say it again: Sim City is actually really fun.
I had a decent-ish city, slowly improving and with a very low amount of crime compared to my friend's city... and then I let a supervillain move into a nice neighbourhood, sending henchmen out from his base to wreak havoc. It was hilarious to watch, and obviously I got a cut of all their profits. Unfortunately, though, once my city began to fall into wrack and ruin from all the chaos and I decided to close him down, crime was already rampant all across the city. It took me ages of juggling budgets and closing down schools before I finally had the swarms of criminals under control.

I had to build several more casinos to keep myself from bankruptcy.

I now own a silver-plated flute. Second hand and slightly battered, but it plays in tune and has no problems a little cleaning won't solve. The best part? It cost me less than $90. The guy had no idea what he was selling, really.

Well, this is where the fancy part wears off. It's a Santa Fe, which is a pretty cheap brand, but it's a really nice one.

I made somebody's day last night during a game of Speedrunners. They were lagging behind quite a few times, and struggling to keep up, and even expressed they were trying everytime they lost. Then this little gem came from me: "Stop trying. Have fun.", and they immediately improved, and reliably handed the rest of us our asses. Did I forget to mention that this was a ranked match (Beginner League; they were probably Entry Level)?

It was nice being thanked for that; and I kept running that statement in my head. I mean, when you ignore the difficulty levels (and everyone else's skill levels), and stop trying to overcome it, and instead, just have fun, then like I've had happen often, accidental awesome tends to occur (even my failures during the matches and such were pretty epic (blowing past everyone by nearly a whole screen, only to be offed by a spike I completely forgot about JUST offscreen enough for me to blindly hit it; I still lost, despite outclassing everyone sometimes, but it was funny to watch)).

Actually, I don't know the brand of mine, but that does sound an awful lot like mine.

Probably not yours. The only things the guy I bought it from imports are watches, and the flute is fortunately not a watch. Also, if it's a Sant Fe it'll have the brand name engraved around the top of the body.

Dad started teaching me how to play the guitar. He's an amazing guitar player and an even better teacher.
