Stopped playing LoL today. It was drawn out of the four F2P games I play, the ones which have been taking up most of my time, holding me back in essence.

It's uninstalled now, the other three will follow suit, and by the end of the year there shall be no more obstructions and no more timewasters.

It feels good to be honest, somewhat terrifying, because this is a big chunk of time and life that will go away, but it was inevitable, maybe one day I'll return to it, but not now, first I gotta get better.

Posted this just after cooking. I let them cool for about 10 minutes before eating, and now they're already gone. Entire rack of ribs in ~15 minutes. Worst part is, I'm still hungry. ;_;

And now, for something completely different.

I was getting my Long War fix in last night, and ended up in a bad situation. I'd taken seven new recruits and a TSGT medic on a downed scout mission, and towards the tail end of it I predicted enemy movements wrong, which left me with a bunch of gormless newbies flanked by a pod of overwatched Floaters. That medic? He sprinted all four Floater overwatches without taking a single hit so that the rest of the squad could get to cover. Fucking heroes in the machine, mang.
