Have you ever had to clean blood off a windscreen? I have. It's not easy.

No, but I've had to mop up large puddles of arterial blood from my kitchen floor.

Hard science is like a sword, and soft science is like fear. You can use both to equally powerful results, but even if your opponent disbelieve your stabs, they will still die.

Reading through xkcd what-ifs, found calculations for using cephalopods for printer ink. Probably wouldn't work, but for some reason it made my day.

Those what-ifs are fantastic. I especially liked the one about propelling a rocket with golf balls.

My grandma fell down our cellar stairs some years ago. Because she was so small, she didn't have any horrible injuries, but the wound on her hand bled like an animal after shechita.
I cleaned it up with a friend while she was rushed to the hospital. We made all sorts of inappropriate jokes, because when you're mopping up a puddle of blood from a 90-year-old you kinda get worried for their health.

Found an open network where I wait for the bus to go to work, which is a different stop where I get off coming home. Crappy connection, but at least it's one.

Damn, I started a Bay12 bloodbath again. :P

Also finally a night where my IQ doesn't suddenly drop and I become too emotional. I'm going to sleep while it lasts.

I got a copy of the 5e D&D PHB. And a copy of the 1e Oriental Adventures Book. The latter's missing a couple chapters, but they're just the ones on honour/clan/etc. and calender stuff, so yanno, no big deal.

An honorless dog who will die when winter comes unexpected, and whom the hungry ghosts will haunt because he forgot the Spring Festival and did not clean the graves of his ancestors.

Calendars: a vital survival tool.

The joys of living within walking distance of the fairplex become apparent when the fair comes to town. My favorite thing every year is still the ostrich that comes right up to the fence and leans over, but the hall of super heroes thing is pretty cool. Shame about the stereotypical county fair food, though.

pathologic is getting a remake

Pathologic (That arty Russian game about a town under plague we all know and love) is getting a remake with 200% less terrible translation and 500% more not-awful graphics! This just made my day and possibly my week.
