Makin' me a d&d homebrew by converting skyrim into a campaign setting aw yeah. The races are pretty bastardly powerful though. By trying to keep true to in-game abilities, I gave High Elves the ability to recover a single cast spell per day plus a +1 DC on a selected school of magic, and argonians a personal lay-on-hands and the ability to breathe water with a native swim skill. Balancing's going to be a pain in the ass.

Full circle! Tamriel was originally a D&D homebrew setting.
What.

If you're keeping true to the game, most races should have pointless abilities.

Well. I'm stuck on the Bretons. Their magical power might be temporary spell resistance or something.

Oh sweet dude.

Made myself tortellini. Could use a little less salt, but it's not bad for a first try. -3-

Man, it would be fun to play that game with a commentary written in the same tone as the article.
Or maybe it just seems like it would be fun 'cause I'm sleepy. :P

It only makes sense. 1990's, PC gaming is a kinda-sorta cottage industry. So some group of friends who are developers decide to turn their homebrew stew into a computer game. It really shows in the first two.

I just checked my university email after neglecting it for the past three months. Nothing time-critical or extremely pressing was missed!

I don't actually know what Weird Al sounds like, but now that you mention it I met a guy who looked a lot like him, yesterday. O.o
