Ace Combat Infinity is a surprisingly good game.

Seriously, I was horribly pessimistic due to the whole fuel system (you have to expend fuel to fly sorties, you get one fuel every 4 hours), but they practically pile the fuel on you through in-game challenges (and random drops, earlier on). It's kinda nice.

Huh. The only Ace Combat game I've played is Zero. I unlocked and beat The Gauntlet, unlocked the ADF01, ADFX01 and X02, all that other jazz, so not much left to do.

That said, have you played AC5? And would you say it's better or worse than Zero?

I've played only 1-5 and Infinity, never Zero. Unfortunate, too. I like 5. The Japanese version of 3 is amazing (all of my avatars are from it), though the gameplay is a bit repetitive. 4 has really good physics and really good missions. 5 has a... story and pretty good missions, too. 2 has a remake on 3DS. 1... is fun, but has not aged well.
