Just got my upper left wisdom tooth removed. It hurts, but the procedure was fun and it felt really weird and interesting when the tendons were cut.

Oh, and the tooth itself is very well-formed and good looking. Three more and I'll make myself a pair of human ivory cufflinks a-la Wolfsheim!

My favorite part was the trick they pulled at the very beginning. Yes, there totally is a guy in the mask or something in the background, who moves ever so slightly at the very beginning to make you maaaaaaybe notice him, but not conspicuous enough to be obvious. I see what they did there.

Also, it was my birthday recently, and my friends got me a fucking RC Yak-12. I didn't expect nothin' and they got me a goddamn plane. I'm both pleasantly dazzled and slightly WTF.

Well, hah, thing is, I have no idea how to fly it yet. I mean, I know which control surface does what on a real plane, but I have to get a good handle on that thing, else I'll wreck it and that'll be sad. I've heard of an RC plane simulator that allows you to connect your remote to your computer for practice, but I haven't looked into it yet.

In other words, first final on the 29th. Will have to wait.
