I'm pretty sure it's not. I remember a couple of years ago that was like 3-5 times a week for me. The funny thing about this place is people here actually seem to have lives despite how nerdy/geeky it is sometimes.

"Nerds have no lives/sex" is a mass media - propagated myth in the same vein as "politicians know what they are doing". I remember how, in the Swiss boarding school, the nerds were as filthy rich party animals as everybody else and used to have veritable phantasmagorias of debauchery, up to and including topless Street Fighter tournaments where everybody was high on ecstasy. And then there were those times I impersonated an italian back in Russia...

In my experience as someone who spent too much damn time in the school system thanks to vindictive teachers, in the states the stereotype still mostly held true as of a couple of years ago. Sometimes these things do exist for a reason.

That stuff is exactly what happents at crazily expensive boarding schools where rich parents send their kids in order to get rid of them before they go to college. Great Gatsby - level parental money -  bought excess.
