Funny enough, I actually first heard of that fight through Sabaton, a heavy metal band that sings of battles (mostly from the WW2 era).  Gotta say, pretty impressed by the Poles.

That was why it was the first thing to spring to my mind. I played it yesterday.

And all of the Snipers have Squadsight, so they all hang back and kill things from across the map. All of my best soldiers have been either Snipers or MEC Troopers. Give them a S.C.O.P.E., Squadsight, and a plasma sniper and they can regularly kill Sectopods without even having to leave the drop zone.

Not long seen my first iridium flare. It was so bright that at first I thought it was a planet. Then I realised it was moving and it quickly faded into a dull star. Just looked it up and it's apparently called Iridium 49.
