I concur. Thank you, Haspen, for letting me know about it!

In other news, I had a yogurt that was a month over it's date.

And it tasted good.

So, my Chemistry professor, after delaying for two weeks, handed out the test results. Now, I've failed the first one by a small margin, but the total mark is an average of the percentages of three tests.

Not only I got 81%, I also got an A for the experiment we were doing.

We are doomed. It's just that whatever is going to kill us all just happens to be, from a scientific standpoint, pretty frickin' awesome.

It should be obvious why this is a happy.

Knowing Belgium, everyone will vote for themselves out of mistrust for anyone else, and some kind of weird direct democracy coalition will need to be formed from 11 million or so individuals.

31 degree heat + no wind + swimming pool + holiday = Happy.
Spending the whole day playing games and swimming = Happy.
Learning C++ again = Happy.

Today was a good day.

My new hero.
Late, but news from the frontlines: according to popular rumour, the man announced/it was announced over the radio that he has schizophrenia and a violent history. There may not be truth to it, but the ANC (ruling party hereabouts) still have a whole lotta egg on their face.

I have a whole day to take advantage of this offer. Thank the various gods, because I won't be able to get on my GoG account until this evening at the earliest :D

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.
