The fact that you beat the stereotype of the fat trucker is kind of cool~

I was on some trucks for a few years. Never driving, just as a helper. Don't think I ever met a fat trucker. And most of these guys were Indian/Sri Lankan. That type of food is calorie intensive, AND they lived in Canada, the land of maple syrup and poutine.
My (limited) experience is that truckers tend towards slightly-overweight, not fat or skinny. Your diet seems to have a lot to do with it - do you get the double-bacon cheeseburger or the salad? Do you live on instant ramen or chip in some extra money for wheat bread and fresh fruit? Stuff like that.

Sirusly, good for you!
The one time when the common misspelling of my name would have been justified :P
"Siriusly, good for you".

Time to start working on that cookbook, Siru. Also maybe checking the local laws on impromptu fire pits. Lot can be done with a grill, a couple of bricks, and some branches.

Well, and something to set the branches alight.

I now have a membership to a rock climbing gym. I rock climbed for 4 hours, then went to the park, sat on the side walk, and drew for an hour and a half.

Would be a pretty boring cookbook. About all I have in the truck are apples, a loaf of bread, and a jar of peanut butter. If my trainer's truck had a cooler, I'd have some sliced cheese, turkey, and jam for variety but not much else.

Also, no need for temporary (and probably illegal) fire pits; a number of truck stops sell things like miniature stoves, electric skillets, or butane burners designed for portability.

That sounds ridiculously awesome.

Was it good drawing? I really don't understand drawing. It's like I'll sit down and put a pen to paper and it'll look like condensed ass that has been frozen and compressed enough to form a black hole. Then people draw good and I am incredibly confused.

Anyway that was a bit of an aside; I actually just wanted to post that I'm in a good mood for no real reason. Maybe music but I can't be sure. Feels good regardless.

It is. They have 5 auto-belay systems on the walls, so you don't need a partner, and a 40 foot long 25 foot high bouldering area. The walls go from 20 feet to 60 feet high. It is amazing. If you ever get down to STL, you should check it out.

Spent eight hours screwing everything. Sometimes my job isn't so bad.

I also tore stuff up with crowbars, sawed 2x4s, perched on unstable positions over long drops, and made hasty tarp-tents in the rain. Seriously, though, probably drove four hundred screws or so. It's amazing when you have perspective sufficient to make construction not just tolerable but downright enjoyable when compared to most of what you normally do.

I'd look up what STL is, but Google isn't working ???

You might could work with that. Would just need to figure out a way to cook it. Maybe get some extra seasonings or somethin'.

If that fails, apples and peanut butter are a good combination all on their own.

I thought that might be it, since I remembered you talking about the weather while I was there. I mistakenly was trying to find a word that the T stood for and got confused :P

Oooohhhhh.....

Really? FedEX?

Yeah... I'm never working for another Fortune 500 megacorp type company ever again, unless it's seriously life or death.  And I mean death for my wife or kids, not for me.  If it were just me, I'd choose death.
