Finished my first playthrough of Katawa Shoujo, good ending with Emi. ...I think I almost cried. And that's not something that happens to me. I'm not sure if I can take playing through the other girls' storylines. I also went back and did the bad ending, which wasn't as painful as I thought it'd be because it was over pretty quick.

Oh man, if you can you totally should.  They're so, so good.

If I had any spare time, I'd actually probably do another KS runthrough, because I miss it so much...
Agreed. Aside from building up enough emotional fortitude to get through another route, its a great game/visual novel.

Go ask Maximum Zero where he lives.

Go on.

It doesn't matter where he lives.  His location may always be justifiably referred to as Battleground.  His grave site will be GroundZero.
For the record, I live in a medium/large town named Battle Creek.

No wonder his punches are so effective.

No wonder his punches are so effective.
That would be because I learned to punch at about 80 lbs, and I'm now 220+ lbs.

Math class has a discussion forum where we are required to post at least twice a week in, one of those needs to be an attempt to answer a problem given in the thread's OP.

I am terrible at math.  The question was about finding the number of possible combinations for houses on 3 blocks with certain numbers and deluxe houses given.

It was very difficult and just about everyone requested the teacher post the answer to this one because everyone was coming up with wildly diffrent methods and answers.

The last day of the discussion the teacher posted.   ...Saying that he does not need to give the answer because my answers and reasoning were both correct, and I explained as well as he could.

I have no idea how that happened, as again, I'm terrible at math.  But I'm really happy about it.

Sounds like you're good at thinking, maybe not so much at memorizing formulae and proofs and strategies.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I slept until 3pm this afternoon. Normally I don't like sleeping in but this is one of those times where it makes me feel a lot better, considering that I've been dealing with some minor insomnia for the past three weeks.

Just came back from an amazing week at the beach, and my arms look all sexy and tan. Equally sexy is the  foot and a half barricuda I caught off the mexico beach pier, which was cut up and used for bait in a very non sexy way.

As it stands, Business Associate Brother (Matt) has already gotten another job lined up (meaning more income), plus i stand to earn another fifty bucks when this website goes live.

I'm planning on spending my earnings on a few games, namely Persona 4 for the PS2.

Happy camper

Which really means you're good at math, just not the kind of "math" they teach in high school.

World War Z is a hella good movie, regardless of the differences between the book and movie. It's a heck of an action trip and it's full of suspense and unexpected ways for the situation to go to shit real fast. I enjoyed it, 10/10, would watch again.

The zombies were well done, they were raging RAGE zambies when aggro'd by loud noise and stimuli and when not aggro'd they were just like shambling undead corpses. It was the best of both worlds, complete with headshots and incineration, and civilians fleeing for their lives before a tidal wave of zombies. Also, zombies on planes. where's your snakes now?

Plus, it has Brad Pitt pretending to be David Spade pretending to be the main protagonist zombie apocalypse survivor.

Anyway, good movie. Made my day.

I provided two people with new avatars today :3
I used to think I could never make visual projects that people would want. That seems to be changing as of late.

EDIT: Oh hey, speak of the devil.
