Explosions and lasers are on equal footing. The BEST thing you can make is exploding lasers.
Or explosion-powered lasers. Which explode things, setting off laser-powered explosions in other ships.

Instead of powering lasers with explosions, make a laser out of explosions. What it does later is irrelevant.

Lasers could activate Fusion, which could power more lasers, which could activate more fusion. which could power more lasers, which could activate Hydrogen Bombs!

A compromise at it's finest.

I've done a silly thing. There is music I wish to purchase, available legitimately only through iTunes. However, I do not wish to actually install that nonsense, so I've decided to do it on a virtual machine that I give no shits about, then convert the mp3s to another format to strip them of metadata, then convert them back to mp3s and transfer them to my external HD.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

No human being should ever have to deal with Apple's glorious marketing methods. Unless their ways of doing business changed since Quicktime, which is unlikely. You have done the wise thing to do there. :3

This is far better than it should be. And turn on the captions. And look at what the captions are called.

That song he plays in the middle? That too, is called Popcorn.

And yeah, that was pretty damned good. :3

I usually just run my MP3s through an automated process on Audacity, to strip the metadata. Works as well, and you don't have to do it manually!

you can never have too many lasers

Clear indicator that this game will be glorious.

If the amount of lasers on your ship requires more power than your antimatter reactors can produce, it's not because you have too many lasers. It's because you don't have big enough antimatter reactors.

I had Morrowind on the Xbox. I could never stand going anywhere in that game because if you went faster than a snail's pace you would drain all your stamina, and then you would end up doing crap for damage if you ran into anything on the way.

Heh, I used to overuse that ring you found in the waterbutt in the census office for that very reason, until I could pay to have a restore fatigue constant effect enchanted. Or toughed it out until I obtained Azura's ring.

Yeah, my favorite Elder Scrolls game is Oblivion because even though I recognize Morrowind is a better game, one does not simply play Morrowind.

You can always mod Oblivion to be more like Morrowind. I've got a mod that replaces the Oblivion leveling system with a more traditional XP-based one. It's really good.
