Yep, the BBC article on that animation says it took '4 scientists 2 weeks of 18-hour days' to produce.

There's vending machines in German that dispense needles so blood transmissible diseases among drug users are lowered. That is a really good idea, and if I wasn't so sure that anyone approaching the things would be arrested, they'd be great in the US.

If they did that, I'd just use them repeatedly without having anything illegal on my person/in my house. They'd learn eventually, I'm sure.

And i thought sprite animation was hard. These guys did fucking ATOM ANIMATION. Atomation? Regardless, they played around with the fuggin pixels of reality, and they made an awesome thing.

Also, a little happening today that made me joyous. I started playing Raptor: Call of the Shadows in one of the breaks at uni today. It was immediately recognized by nearby people, and thus sparked a lengthy conversation about awesome old games. Truth be told, i had NOT seen it coming that the others knew all those games, i wouldn't have pegged them as people who gamed that much in their childhood. I suppose i should have taken a clue from the fact that many of them think (or at least say) that it's super cool that i'm making my own game, though. It makes me so happy to know that there are so many other like-minded people in my age group AND daily life. c: (well, i already did know that, but REAFFIRMATION if that's a word)

You'd end up in the 24 hour waiting cell repeatably until you stopped doing it.

You should really just apply liberal amounts of frosting onto any cake.
Maybe even some strange, unusual types of frosting. It can really make a cake that little bit more interesting.
