Came across some cartoons from my childhood and had a burst of nostalgia.

Somewhere in Dreamland. Starts with two depression-era kids licking the windows of an ice cream/cake shop (as they can't afford to eat actual ice cream, see), their mother giving them a meal of stale bread and nothing for herself, and then the kids finally head to bed and dream of a better life. Don't worry, it has a happy ending.

Christmas Comes But Once a Year. Christmas cartoon about an orphanage getting a visit from a mad scientist dressed up as Santa Claus. Honestly, this cartoon is one of the big reasons I was interested in making my own toys as a kid (and ultimately wanting to make my own video games). The inventor guy is awesome and the toys make sense in their own crazy way.

Susie the Blue Coupe. Horrifying cartoon that I honestly did not remember any of the narration from. I would not be surprised if the last time I saw this was when I was 4 years old. It left quite an impression on me, being terrifying on my young mind that couldn't understand the dialog, but is a good cartoon in its own right.

There's vending machines in German that dispense needles so blood transmissible diseases among drug users are lowered. That is a really good idea, and if I wasn't so sure that anyone approaching the things would be arrested, they'd be great in the US.
