I'm back from Paris. We saw just about everything and I used the metro more in these three days than I did in the rest of my life. The only problem from using the metro is that you get the urge to get on moving things quickly before they leave. Like elevators.
One of the best things was the quite massive amount of street musicians. Also, double warm meal because it's nigh impossible to easily find somewhere where you can eat something small.

It's my birthday today, and I'm in really good spirits, despite the difficult circumstances I'm facing. Unemployed, with a couple of serious health ailments, and my relationship is undergoing its most serious crisis to date.
Yet here I am, happy and fulfilled, and grateful to be alive. I have purpose.
