So I had a song stuck in my head all day yesterday. I was talking to my friend and he told me to get it out by singing "Bicycle" by Queen. So I ended up with Freddie Mercury and Chris Cornell alternating singing in my head. I wasn't even mad.

And now you're spreading the mindworm? Now I'm going to hear Chris Cornell singing all of Queen's songs, and Freddie singing for Soundgarden.....this is not a terrible thing.

The lesson here is that Immense maps with all civs enabled take FOREVER.

Every time I play a Civilization game in Marathon speed I am disappointed that after a few dozen hours I am already fighting (my first war!) with destroyers.

I might want to check out Galciv some time

Regarding snow, we got some today, but most of the snow for the season has already fallen. Most Marches tend to only be a foot or so, but the record for March is 72 inches-ish.  I'm hoping for a record.

The map is basically the size of an actual galaxy - well maybe just a bit of exaggeration. Several hundred stars, though.

Yeah, but they don't do a whole lot. You can't even destroy them in an act of sabotage.

Honestly though, crushing the last enemy empire down to one class-4 planet and mining the asteroids in that system RIGHT IN FRONT OF THEM?

I play Space Empires V, and the games go on FOREVER. I'm talking weeks here. And the tech tree is MASSIVE. Everything from civics, to creating black holes. Very fun. Currently looking for the last two empires in my current game. Cowards hid on me. May be hiding in an unlinked system.
