There is no shame in getting a D in math though dude. Math is just hard, and that's why people who are naturally really good at it are somewhat of an anomaly.

You might want to stop that. Junk food isn't good for your health, and there seems to be ever so much of it around these days.

I will say that I got a B on both precalc and chem this semester so I'm one to talk. But I'm still not very good at it.

Pulled out my dad's old telescope and pointed it at Jupiter. Could see all four moons, and make out cloud bands.

I agree, most of us can't make singing rockets either. Unless you count them screaming through the atmosphere towards a fiery doom as singing.

Radtastic! I'm probably going to go out with mine come Monday when I'm back home. Olympia has nice temperatures, but between the lights and the clouds one can scarcely see the stars at night.

Well there would be no shame if this wasn't my 2nd time getting a D.  But this is the happy thread!

Wasn't there supposed to be some starstorm tonight or something?  Would be nice to watch if it wasn't completely overcast.

A little girl randomly hugged me as I tried to sell her father a computer today. It was a total WTF thing, but it was also a happy. I showed her how to paint on the touchscreen. :3

I think the starstorm will be tomorrow night, too. Hope to see it before it's done.

We had our office Christmas party tonight, where we all give joke gifts at random. My friend of many years told me, explicitly, don't pick his gift. Absolutely don't pick it. Out of 19 gifts, not knowing which has his, it was the first one I went to.

It was a pretty fun moment for someone that I've known most of my life.

Done with finals at long last, and managed to pound out my last paper as well. I don't know how well I'll do, but just about every paper I wrote was a solid A, and most of my tests and such in the non-pure-memorization classes as well. Spanish I don't think I'll do better than a low B, if only because I completely forgot about two chapters worth of annoying online homework. Those two chapters of busywork have similar weight as the oral portion of my final. -_-

It occurs to me how very odd my schedule is compared to all of you. I don;t have finals till, late January at the earliest.

You must be in a high school. Find me an American college/university that has finals after the Christmas Break, and I'll be surprised.
