Well, considering my ugly history of abuse, shitty relationships, family abandonment, sexual and emotional abuse, poverty, starvation, near-death sickness, and a seriously-terrible bad-luck streak in which I've injured myself in the most retarded ways, I'm glad for ONE MONTH OF MY DAMN LIFE, I'm actually having good things suddenly happen.

Karma is finally starting to feel sorry for me. I've done the right thing and helped people my entire life, only to get fucked over again, and again, and again, and again, and again x10^50...

Please, let there not be a catch. I can deal with history issues, I can deal with emotional issues, I can deal with shitty family, I can deal with being poor, but please just don't tell me she's massively Bi-Polar and has a penis that bigger than mine.

I've looked at all the pictures, and they're seriously surprising. The people I created in my mind based on written behavior are TOTALLY opposite of some of you folks' actual appearance.

Oh wow so many happies for me today.

On the more mundane side, while my Fullmetal Alchemist binge is in recess, I decided to stay up all day so I can finally have a normal-ish sleep schedule. Hooray for the total system shock/hard reset method of solving things!

Second, FMA is deep. Like, maybe it's my sleep-deprived (for me, anyway) brain, but it seems like everything is so deep and there are eight gazillion themes and messages from the story.

On the more "faith in humanity" side of the spectrum, three things happened to me in the past hour. I was returning pop (aka 'soda') bottles and cans (for (me) money or (most people) receiving a return on a state-mandated deposit). All out of plastic and cans, I head over to the glass return area. I have seven beer bottles, and the lady occupying it looks like she's got several dozen. She actually asks me if I have only a couple, then takes a receipt early and lets me get my 70 cents quick.

On that same trip, I dropped my keys before picking up fuel for my stay-awake session a radioactive fluorescent green caffeine/sugar acid mix. I took the Mtn. Dew out to the car, realized that I dropped the keys, set the dew under the car. Went back, and (1) somebody had already turned in the keys to the customer service counter and (2) nobody stole mah pop.

So, FMA and restoring my faith in humanity.
