Humans vs. Zombies is happening on campus right now, so all the Nerf hobbyists have come out of the woodwork to show off their supper modded blasters. There's a surprisingly large number of them.

Yeah, RIT Humans vs Zombies is a pretty big deal. They last a full week, with fall games typically having something like 600+ players (spring games typically have only 300 or so, due to increased work loads). This campus buys enough Nerf equipment that we could probably single-handedly keep the nearby toys-r-us in business.

Apparently nerf is big with people who want to paintball/airsoft but don't have the money or space. Also, tech companies that think we're in the '90s.

Yeah, airsoft is for the big boys. =) $350 for an M4 assault rifle, somewhere between 120-150 rounds per minute, scope, laser sight, absolute MADNESS, its so fun.

The Brazilian guy who owns the local airsoft store and runs competitions likes to use the Barret .50 cal, it costs a whopping $1,500 USD and is HUGE, ridiculously powerful, and... Well, I'm staying the fuck away from HIM during the weekly airsoft games.

I forgot to mention, apparently there's one guy, forgot if he's a cop or if he's ex-military, who had a minigun custom-built. Yes, that's right. A fucking MINIGUN.

Airsoft games are definitely one of those games where the more money you have, the better.

On that note, $45 USD for hollow thick-rubber grenades that you fill with anything from paint to baby powder-mix to make flashbangs, smoke grenades, or plain old PAIN-grenades; aka grenades filled to the brim with BB pellets for a SHOWER of hurt in every direction.

My friend and I are researching a way to make home-made tear gas for our grenades, lmao. Not quite sure if that's legal, but I'm pretty sure if its only as strong as a very weak version of mace or pepperspray, which anyone can carry, then it should be alright.

Beat Touhou 6 normal mode with no continues for the first time; even had a life to spare.
Which kinda surprised me, as I have never previously beat it with anything less than all my continues.
