Parents came over for an Easter lunch, dear god I haven't eaten so much and so well in a long time.

Right now I'm just sitting here, casually watching Spiderwick Chronicles (awesome movie btw, has that sweet adventure feel), drinking some beer and surfing the net to some nice music.

All I could use right now is probably some good company and maybe some cigars or pot

Watching movies alone is a lot better than watching one with people who don't like it as much as you do. Or even worse, with people who talk during the movie.

Indeed, if I want to see a movie and enjoy it I usually watch it alone, if it's just for the heck of it (usually when drunk) I watch it with other people, because really, I can't remember the last time I've watched anything with someone and that someone kept their damn mouth shut most of the time.
