We've finally reached the point where we're praying for snow, and we're not gradeschoolers with a hot test tomorrow.

This actually isn't that unusual for Texas, I remember a few years ago we had a "winter" with 80F on New Years Day, and wildfires all over the state.  It never gets any less unnerving though, to be walking down the street in a t-shirt sweating, and realizing it's fucking January.

The 2012 Six Nations starts this weekend (IMHO possibly one of the greatest sporting tournaments there is). Being Welsh, I am a rabid rugby fan. Excited is a big understatement.

Just discovered that I don't have to go to school tomorrow. Only one class on Fridays, and the teacher sent an email today saying that he isn't going to be in. Three day weekend!

Happened to view my university profile page and noticed after last quarter's credits, I now have 5th year status. Not including this quarter, I have a grand total of 8 courses required for graduation, 6 after next quarter, and 2 of those are 'Wellness Activity' courses. Seems most of what I'll be taking next year will be whatever I feel like taking. Which in my case means CS, Math, and grad courses. And of course, Cyborg Theory. :D
